• 1988, American River 50, pushing beyond 26 miles for the first time.
• 1991, Stanford Centenial 100k, first 100k, managed 3rd in age group.
• 1992, Won Skyline to the Sea 50 (due to the lack of serious competition).
• 1992, Won Muir Beach Marathon (must have been a good year).
• 1993, Western States 100, lots of snow, finished in 27:24 - no silver buckle.
• 1995, Western States 100, even more snow, missed that buckle again at 27:56.
